As an Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Perform clerical duties including but not limited to answering phones
  • Provide professional, efficient and accurate administrative support to office team members
  • Schedule appointments, meetings and take messages
  • Write and review memos and letters
  • Assist in the assembly of reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist with client billing and receivables
  • Be responsible for task management system and notification of due dates
  • Assist other administrative staff with overflow work
  • Assemble tax returns
  • Electronic filing of tax returns
  • Scan tax returns
  • Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate’s degree in Administrative Assistance or two years’ experience in similar position
  • Experience in customer service environment
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client matters
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and computer software including MS office suite

From January through April 15th, this position will work approximately 40 – 50 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, some Saturday availability. April 16th through December 31st, the hours are flexible and could work between 20-25 hours a week depending on availability.
