About Greg
Greg Kenworthy blends technical tax law with real-world business acumen to bring real estate, manufacturing, and middle market privately held businesses and their owners tax planning and business advisory services. As a Partner, he enjoys working with clients who are genuinely excited about their businesses and their wealth management. At year-end and throughout the year, Greg provides advice to clients on how to minimize their tax impact. He provides his greatest value to clients who are planning for the tax consequences of their income as they grow or transition into and out of business ventures.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Greg joined Hawkins Ash CPAs as an intern. Through diligent hard work and determination, he became a Partner in 2016. Greg dedicates time to the continued growth of Hawkins Ash CPAs as he oversees team members in two offices and serves on the Firm’s Strategic Planning Committee and Executive Committee.
Before and during his time at Hawkins Ash CPAs, Greg served two tours of duty with the Army in Iraq.
Greg is a lifelong resident of the driftless region of western Wisconsin. He takes pride in farming his corn and soybean acres. He is devout to his church, his wife, and his two sons.
“One common characteristic I’ve noticed among successful small business owners is the importance of maintaining clean books. It not only enables you to provide accurate financial records to your CPA or potential clients, but also empowers you to assess the overall performance of your business more effectively.”
