Amanda LaPlante, CPA-Promoted to Senior Associate
Beginning her career at Hawkins Ash CPAs as an intern, Amanda LaPlante became a full-time tax associate at the firm’s Green Bay, WI, office in June 2014. She is now a senior tax associate with responsibilities that include preparing various tax returns for S and C corporations, partnerships, individual, fiduciary and nonprofit entities. She works on final accounting for estates and has experience in handling bankruptcies. Amanda is an in-charge accountant for Employee Benefit Plans and also trains all new hires in the tax department at the Green Bay office.
Briana Peters, CPA-Promoted to Senior Associate
Briana Peters joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2013 and is a senior audit associate in the firm’s Green Bay office. As an in-charge accountant, she focuses on nonprofit organizations. Briana is involved in all parts of the audit process including financial statement preparation. She also assists with audits of employee benefit plans, reviews and compilations of nonprofits and small businesses. Briana is a member of the firm’s nonprofit service group as well as the employee benefit plan service group.
Christina Heit, CPA-Promoted to Senior Associate
Christina Heit joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2013. As a senior audit associate in the firm’s La Crosse office, she performs audits for educational agencies, commercial enterprises, municipalities and employee benefit plans.
Claudia Weinberger, CPA-Promoted to Senior Associate
Claudia Weinberger joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2013. As a senior audit associate in the firm’s La Crosse office, she works with the audit team to perform audits of municipalities, nonprofit organizations and housing authorities.
Joe Nurmi, CPA-Promoted to Senior Associate
Joe Nurmi joined Hawkins Ash CPAs accounting and auditing staff in 2014. As a senior audit associate in the firm’s Rochester office, he prepares audited, reviewed and compiled financials. He is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Justin Petersen-Promoted to Senior Associate
Justin Petersen is a senior audit associate in the La Crosse office of Hawkins Ash CPAs. He joined the firm in 2013 and serves as an in-charge auditor for housing authorities, tax credit projects, school districts, and municipalities.
