Brittany Leonard, CPA
LA CROSSE, WI – The Partners at Hawkins Ash CPAs recently voted to promote Brittany Leonard, CPA, and Holly Muehl-Pett, CPA, EA, to become Partners.
Brittany Leonard, CPA, was most recently a Senior Audit Manager in the Firm’s La Crosse, WI, office. In her new role as Partner, she will continue to provide audit services to tax credit projects, education agencies, nonprofit organizations, and commercial enterprises.
“Brittany leads our Firm’s nonprofit services group,” said Abe Leis, CPA and Managing Partner for Hawkins Ash CPAs. “Her experience with both nonprofit organizations and voucher schools will be a great addition to the partner group and her leadership will allow the Firm to continue to grow these areas.”
Leonard holds the Intermediate Single Audit Certificate from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a Certified Public Accountant. Her background prior to joining Hawkins Ash CPAs includes tax return preparation and small business accounting. She serves as the chairperson for the Firm’s nonprofit services group.
Holly Muehl-Pett, CPA, EA
Holly Muehl-Pett, CPA, EA, was most recently a Senior Manager is the Firm’s Mequon, WI, office. As partner, with nearly two decades of experience in tax preparation and accounting, Muehl-Pett will continue to specialize in reviewing tax returns and provide leadership and training for the staff in the Mequon office.
“Holly excels in technical and client service skills,” said Leis. “She will make a great partner and, in this role, will continue to facilitate the Firm’s expansion in the greater Milwaukee area.”
Muehl-Pett is both a certified public accountant and IRS enrolled agent. She is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs Federal Tax Committee.
