The second generation of the family-owned grocer took an opportunity to sell the grocery store to a larger grocer. They leaned on Hawkins Ash CPAs to keep “things going” through the sale of the business to ensure a seamless transition. The buyer staff and leadership wanted to have continuity during the transition with the target store. Becky Doyle at Hawkins Ash CPAs worked closely with both the seller and buyer of the transaction to achieve no disruptions to vendor payments and employee payroll. Becky was diligent to ensure the payroll and tax accounts were set up correctly under the buyer and guided the buyer through start-up. She assisted with employee paperwork and data transition.
